secondary baseline

When we added secondary baselines to the hours burndown it made it look "normal" but the tasks remaining still looks like we didn't do a good job of working on tasks until they were completed.

If we draw a "secondary baseline" in the chart from the peak of hour hours remaining down to completion then we get a more "normal" trend for this sprint. This is an indication that we added lots of hours and didn't complete the planning very well.
